Suddenly your problem doesn’t seem so overwhelming. D. Todd Arney has practiced law in Kansas City since 1992. He is licensed in Kansas and Missouri, as well as the Federal Courts. He initially joined the large, prestigious firm of Watson Ess Marshall and Enggas in downtown Kansas City, Missouri. Since 1992, Mr. Arney has represented businesses and individuals in a wide range of legal issues including:

D. Todd Arney received his law degree with honors from Washburn University in 1992 where he was the Managing Editor of the Washburn Law Review. He also earned a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Missouri-Kansas City in 1996. Prior to his graduate studies, Mr. Arney earned a B.S. in Business Administration with a minor in Journalism from the University of Kansas. At KU, he was the President of the Phi Kappa Psi Fraternity.

Mr. Arney served as an adjunct Professor of Law at Washburn University for ten years. As an Eagle Scout, he assisted with his son’s Scout troop and he is currently involved in other community activities. Mr. Arney and his family attend Church of the Resurrection.

In addition to his law practice, Mr. Arney is the owner of Barrister Homes, a residential construction company. Mr. Arney is a licensed general contractor with over twenty-five years of experience building and renovating beautiful homes and investment properties. Mr. Arney resides in Mission Hills with his wife of over thirty years, Stacey, where  they cherish time with their four adult children, son-in-laws and two grandchildren.

Outside the office, Mr. Arney’s activities include property renovations, woodworking, golf, water skiing, snow skiing, boating, and spending time at the Lake of the Ozarks. He is an avid sports fan closely following the Kansas City Chiefs, Royals and Kansas Jayhawks. Mr. Arney also really enjoys traveling, particularly in Europe.
